This painting is called “El Chef” based on a photo of my godfather in the 1950s wearing a chef's hat and preparing a meal for one of his parties. This is part of my Wonder & Joy series of paintings where I wanted to capture regular people doing things that bring them joy. Cooking brings me a lot of joy as it did to him.
The painting was created using acrylic paint on a flat panel The painting measures 9 x 12 inches. The painting comes framed in a 9 x 12 black acrylic frame as shown in the first picture.
This original artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist Noelia Montaner.
